BobbiJoSoaps.com began in 1999, and was originally named Butterfly Kisses Soaps & Body. Butterfly Kisses Soaps & Body was the vision and dream of Bobbi Jo Niebauer, she loved the sense of smell!

She was born February 12th, 1980, prematurely. This caused a lung condition and shortly after birth she became blind. Neither the lung condition or the blindness stopped her from continuing through life hurdling one obstacle after another.

Bobbi Jo participated in many, many activities, including downhill skiing! In 2001, she was named Special Olympics Michigan Inspirational Athlete of the Year and was on the front of the Frosted Flakes box (see above right), with Chris Burke, from the TV Sitcom, "Life Goes On."

Sadly, on July 3rd, 2007 Bobbi Jo passed away, at the age of 27, however her spirit lives on through BobbiJoSoaps.com.
